For me, it's to not waste my life doing things that don't matter. To be present and a good example for my kids when they need it the most, to grow my connection with God and create a legacy that extends for generations to come.

A lot of moms suffer from Super Mom Syndrome and wear busyness and overwhelm like a badge of honor. We think the more we do for our families, the better mom, wife or person we are or appear to be to others. Meanwhile we are burned out, stressed out, our parenting is suffering and our nonstop to do lists rarely include ourselves.

Becoming a parent doesn't make you less of a woman. You matter. Your happiness matters. Your health matters. Your dreams matter.
